We decided to switch up the book club this month (but hold onto your copy of Down the Rabbit Hole, because we're going to revisit it in July—date TBA).
We decided to switch up the book club this month (but hold onto your copy of Down the Rabbit Hole, because we’re going to revisit it in July—date TBA).
As you can see, the book is composed of two separate novellas.
Both tales are stark and poetic narratives of Zimbabwean women navigating ravaged land in the wake of colonial violence. We’ll discuss themes that intersect with eco-feminism, racism, identity, and the cyclical nature of systematic violence.
We will read and discuss both works on June 25 at 3PM. The book can be ordered through our website or by calling the store at 315-462-2665.
